In celebration of the Olympics and all of the beautiful olympians, here is a little fun FYI. I love watching the Olympics, particularly sports like gymnastics, swimming, diving, and synchronized swimming. I admire the female athletes for all that they have accomplished. It’s incredible the beauty you can see inside and out.
While most of the athletes sport a natural, sporty-chic look, the synchronized swimmers definitely put on their game face before they compete. Have you ever watched the synchronized swimmers jump into the pool with a face full of makeup and wondered how in the world they keep it from smearing off in the water? Here’s the key to the look if you are ever hoping to achieve the same performance look – Chapstick and Jell-O.
Unflavored gelatin is apparently the key to keeping fly-aways tucked down and Chapstick is the perfect eyeshadow primer. Then, you almost wouldn’t believe it, but all of the makeup is just normal makeup with the only waterproof component being mascara.
So there you have it. For the rest of the summer, whenever you hit the pool now you can look and feel just like an Olympian.
