After all the rumors, theories, and mystery surrounding Suri Cruise, the world saw pictures for the first time last night. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes said they were never trying to hide her from the world, things just got out of hand. I’ll say! Suri was born in April and we are just now seeing her picture?! What did her parents expect? Of course people are going to wonder what was taking so long and if there was something wrong with her. Or even if she really existed. I mean, I can understand keeping your daughter out of the limelight so that she can grow up as normally as possible, but 5 months old and not one picture!
But Suri’s picture was unveiled last night on Katie Couric’s first night as the anchor of CBS Evening News. A big night for everyone! The photos of the young family will be coming out in October’s issue of Vanity Fair, complete with an interview with Katie Holmes, who hasn’t been seen much since giving birth to Suri.
I can’t believe how much hair Suri has for only being 5 months old. And no matter what other people are saying, I don’t think she looks anything like either of her parents. But I think Katie is looking really well these days. Granted, it’s been a few months, but considering that she has to live with Tom Cruise and that she recently had a baby, she looks great!
And who knows what we’ll get next from Katie Couric – she has promised an interview with Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, so we’ll have to see if that happens!

Perhaps they wanted her to start looking more like a person than a… red beachball before letting out pictures.

I’d just like to say that I actually had that much hair when I was born, so the amount that Suri has is perfectly possible!

I was born with a full head of hair as well. Looking back on my 1month picture, I had just as much hair as Suri
