We already discussed makeup colors and makeup application for summer 2006, but no look is complete without a fragrance. So here is what you need to know about hot fragrances for this summer!
The most important thing to remember is that the overall direction of fragrances for the summer is towards crisp, citrus, and floral scents. Think light and clean. Don’t wear the same perfume that you’ve been using all winter. Spring and summer need something brighter and more alive. If you already have a scent that fits this description, you’re ready to hit the streets! But if not, here are some suggestions for hot fragrances this summer.
• Clinique Happy in Bloom. This is Clinique’s newest version of Happy and it’s perfect for the summer! It’s not too pricey either, so if you’re working on a budget, this may be a perfect choice!
• Jennifer Lopez Live. Jennifer’s most recent scent is filled with citrus and floral scents, so you can’t go wrong with it this summer. It is quite a bold fragrance, though, so you might want to save this one for the evenings.
• CK One Summer by Calvin Klein. This fragrance captures the ocean breeze and mixes it with citrus notes for a perfect summer fragrance. For him or her, this fragrance is also new this year.
• Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana. This is a light, citrus scent that ideal for a summer’s day.
