I haven’t caught up on celebrity gossip in a while, so here’s the latest. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are officially engaged! Rumors have been circulating for some time now, but nothing has been said. But Nicole announced to People magazine on Monday that she is engaged to the country music star.
I am so happy for her; she has always been a favorite of mine. Maybe this will take some heat off of her ‘confession of love’ for Tom Cruise.
The top three contestants performed on American Idol last night, and we find out tonight who will be eliminated. Everyone seems to think that Taylor is an usher-in for the next round, but will this be another Chris Daughtry? People also said that he was guaranteed a spot in the next round, but he still got booted. My guess? Katharine is gone. But I guess we will see tomorrow.
And what celebrity gossip would be complete without the latest from Britney Spears? She seems to be all over the headlines in the past few months. Her latest is that she has given up her religion, Kabbalah. She says her son is now her religion. And rumors continue to fly that she will be leaving Kevin before too much longer. And once again she is in the news for baby Sean’s location in the car. In February, she was photographed driving her SUV with her baby in her lap, and Monday she was seen driving her convertible with Sean in the back in a car seat, but facing forwards. Apparently he should have been facing backwards.
So that’s the update from the celebrities. You never know what to expect…
