Lip Care Secrets

Do you want to have beautiful lips, but aren’t sure how to get them? Perfect! Because I have some tips and secrets for you that will make your lips the envy of all around. And while lips are only one part of your makeup job, they are an important step that you don’t want to mess up!

Here are your lip tips:

• Exfoliate the dead skin from your lips to keep them healthy. Just like your other skin, your lips need you to keep the dead skin off in order to look their best!
• Never lick your lips; it dries them out. Keep some lip balm on hand to combat any dry lips.
• When choosing makeup colors, including lip colors, base your decision off your natural hair and skin tones, not what you are wearing that day.
• Match your base lipstick and blush colors. This makes your makeup job look more even and balanced.
• Put your lip liner on before your lipstick.
• To make it easier to sharpen your lip liner pencil, put it in the refrigerator for a few minutes first.
• Lip liner should never be darker than your lipstick. Pick a color that is the same, or a little lighter than the shade of your lipstick.
• To make sure that your lipstick doesn’t get on your teeth, form an ‘O’ with your mouth and stick your index finger in your mouth. Close your lips around your finger and slowly pull your finger out. The extra lipstick will come off on your finger and leave your teeth clean and white!
