The big news today is that Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise welcomed their baby girl, Suri, into the world yesterday. Suri weighed 7 lbs 7 oz and was 20 inches long. Both mother and daughter are doing well and I’m sure will be out in public before too long.
The birth was planned according to the tenets of the Church of Scientology, which we all know Tom Cruise is a huge fan of. Although details haven’t been released, apparently it was a silent procedure. I’m not quite sure what that means, but, maybe you do.
I would like to take this opportunity, along with congratulating Tom and Katie, to share some makeup secrets from Katie Holmes. (This is how Katie wore her makeup in the final season of Dawson’s Creek.)
• No eyeliner. I thought that was interesting. She did, however, have gold eye shadow.
• Her blush and some of her eye shadow were Christian Dior.
• She wore Maybelline mascara, but only on her top lashes.
• Very plain lips-no lip liner or lipstick, just lip gloss.
This look sounds very plain when I describe it, but I think she looked fantastic in Dawson’s Creek, so if you have dark hair and fair skin, give it a try.
Although it is tempting, I won’t take time to discuss Tom Cruise’s somewhat…interesting life, including rumors that he is gay and has paid Katie Holmes to marry him to cover up his homosexual lifestyle, his obsession with Scientology, and his anti-psychiatry views, and so forth. With all of this controversy, it is no wonder that his popularity is decreasing.
Either way, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes make a lovely couple and I am sure that we all congratulate them on their new baby daughter. That being said, if anyone does have any opinions on Tom Cruise or any proof to substantiate the rumors, let me know!
