Ok, ladies, I need your input. We are thinking of starting a new website about haircuts and hairstyling. It will have tons of great features like a nationwide directory of all the certified hairstylists with the ability to leave comments about their services. You will be able to enter your zip code and find a listing of all the hairstylists near you and see how other customers have rated their services.
Besides rating and finding hairstylists, we want to include other features like an online hair forum where you can communicate with each other about hair concerns and questions, the ability to upload your picture and try different haircuts to see what you like, the convenience of booking your hair appointments and communicating with your stylist online, and much more.
So I am curious as to what you think about it. Is this a service that you would be interested in? How do you find a great stylist and would you like to be able to have a complete resource for haircutting and hairstylists online?
I have not been able to find any other good directories of hairstylists online, and I think this could be a great new website, but first I wanted to check with you all. What do you think? Do you have any other ideas about what we should include on the new site? What kind of services would you enjoy and get use out of?

I think thoughsd are great idea but I think we need a lot more than hair styles. WE woman need a site that gives us all we need. How to put in makeup. Where to get our hair done, what is the lates hairstyles and the gossip on everything about looking sexy and dead georougus if you only have five minutes to get ready or you are want to the the star of the night. Tip and ideas and even maybe….possible..have real people type and leaving thing on how they put on make up or whatever. Becuase we all have away ing doing some even if it is the same thing the girl next to us is doing, we just might have an different and easier way in doing it.
Plus, maybe you can put in your website some homemade recipes on longer hair, facial cream.. made all at your home. Most woman really only want togo to one place to get want they want. Not having to run around in circle and different places to tip on make up or hair care or what is In, in style and what is Out.
I hope that I do not sound all scary but you wanted an reply and I jope I was able to give you guys what you wanted.

hey yea i love that idea ive seen a few hairstyle websites and many have old hairstyles… new hair styles and regular updates will be much appreciated….im looking forward to this!

I think that this sounds like a fabulous idea! I also agree with what Mary said about having other features on the website as well (Makeup, how to look hot in 5 mins etc). I think that it is a totally awesome idea and I don’t know why anyone hasn’t thought of it sooner!! Also: I am in Canada, and so the ability to still utilize this website would be nice (not necessarily for the stylist look up, but if we have to enter our postal codes, not to be told that we are ‘invalid’ or something.) I think thats a great idea especially since there isnt really any hairstyles that you can find online that would be good for all hair types. I’ve been buying and spending alot of money on those hair magazines and I think that its not really worth it because I never end up finding anything. Thats also a good idea that there will be professionals that you can speak to also. I think that you should add a nails category on your website too so that people can ask advice about their nails and so they can get the right information that they want to know. There is so much info about nails that I am sure nobody knows what they should do. well I hope this will help.

I think that this is an awesome idea but I too think that we need more then just that like the how-to; how to do the best hair styles, how to find out your face shape and then what hair styles look best with that face shape, how to find out your color plet, stuff like that! But yeah this is a way good idea!!Ü

That sounds awesome!! I recently got a hair-cut, and before that, when I was looking for a cute hairstyle.. all the websites had very little hairstlyes, that you didn’t have to pay for. Anyway.. I think you should go for it, good luck! =D

Sounds great!! I’ve always been looking for new hairstyles and buying hair and makeup magazines. I’m very into Japanese and cute hairstyles. I have a special occassion coming up real soon too so it’d be great!!

Yeah thats a great Idea, but I think you should add a place where canadians can look for haircuts too. Or have it worldwide. You should also add a forum where people can talk.Well I hope this helps you develope the website.

That sounds like a great idea!. I’m in my late teens, and always looking for a new hairstyle, to keep up with trends, and never know where to look. Feed back form browsers or subscribers will let you know just what we’re looking for, and can get filled in on hair related dilemmas!
