I don’t know why I’ve been on such a ‘homemade recipes’ kick lately, but here are some great ideas for treating acne from the comfort of your own home. Some of these are pretty creative, so if you have these ingredients sitting around, give them a try – they work great to clear up skin and get rid of acne!
> Put toothpaste on your pimples before you go to bed. Be sure you use paste and not gel! This will help dry out your acne.
> Wash your face with warm salt water twice a day.
> Rub raw garlic on your face to help acne disappear without leaving scars.
> Calamine lotion works wonders to dry out your skin and get rid of acne!
> Dab egg white on your pimples and leave it overnight or even just for 20 minutes.
> Use grated potatoes as a poultice on your face to help with acne, skin blemishes, and wrinkles.
These at-home acne treatments are great and healthy ways to treat skin blemishes and have that clear complexion that you’ve always wanted. My personal favorite is the raw garlic. It can be a bit strong, but it works great!
