As we all know, every skin type is different and can react differently to the same facial cleanser. The important thing is finding something that works well for your skin. For the last couple years, I have been using Clean and Clear Morning Burst facial cleanser. I loved the way my skin felt when I used it. It really does help you wake up in the morning and leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh. I have always had skin that breaks out every couple weeks. It usually isn’t terrible, but still leaves me feeling insecure at times. Since I started using the Morning Burst soap, I thought my breakouts lessened, but it wasn’t until recently that I realize another face soap helped reduce those break outs even more.
At the beginning of the summer, I was visiting my family for a few weeks and started using my sister’s Clean and Clear Essentials foaming facial cleanser. I could tell the difference just after a few weeks of using it. I hadn’t had ANY breakouts in over two weeks. When I got back home, I decided I needed to by a bottle for myself. I have been using it for about three months now and have been pretty satisfied.
The last two weeks, my face has seen a few more breakouts than at the beginning, but I think I am going to give Essentials a bit more time to see how things work out. I was so impressed when I first started using it, I am not ready to give up yet.
Below are a few facts I found on the Clean and Clear web site I thought were interesting and wanted to share as well:
-Dry skin is no escape from acne! Dry skin flakes off and can clog pores, making acne worse. If you do have dry skin it is important to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.
-There has been a lot of research that shows there is no connection between acne and diets. You can eat pizza, chocolate, and French fries and they won’t cause acne! While these foods won’t cause acne, it’s important that you eat a well-balanced diet to stay healthy and feel better about yourself.
