What you will need:
- Comb
- 2 hair rubber bands
- Hairspray (optional)

2. About half way back your head, make another part starting from the original part, down behind your ear. Leaving the section you just created out, pull the rest of your hair back out of the way.

3. To do the first braid, simply French braid like normal, but don't add hair to the back strand. Only pull strands to the section of hair from your front hairline. Once you have added all the hair to your French braid, braid the rest of the way down and secure with a rubber band.

4. Release the hair you had pulled back, and begin French braiding the rest of your hair. Your original braid should be incorporated into the final French braid, leaving your hair pulled back and out of the way for a hot summer day.
