Funny that Ali should post yesterday and ask for a good eyelash treatment to help her stubby lashes. Just as a note, she had no idea that I was all ready to put this up on the blog. Talk about perfect timing! So here it is ladies, a great eyelash treatment that you don’t have to have a prescription for.
The product is: NuSkin Nutriol Eyelash Treatment
So, when I went to my dermatologist’s office a few years ago, I saw an ad for Latisse. I was immediately fascinated because I too have stubby, short eyelashes that are a bit sparse. Anyway, I was thinking that I would love to find a magic mascara to help them grow. I guess I was turned off by the fact that Latisse is only by prescription and it costs around $120 per bottle. Needless to say, my interest stopped there.
I stumbled across this NuSkin product and was more than pleased when it was only $24 online. I’ll admit I was still skeptical, but was more willing to shell out the $24 over the $120 to try Latisse, so I gave it a try.
I was so happy that after just 3 weeks, I could already tell my eyelashes were longer! I might be in trouble because I think I’m hooked. Below I’ll give you the breakdown of all of the pros and cons so you can see if you want to try it out too.
- Fairly affordable
- Saw quick results
- Lengthened and strengthened my eyelashes
- One easy application each night did the trick
- Didn’t see a huge change in volume, but may see a difference as time goes on
- If I forgot to apply, within a few days saw growth stop
- Can be wet, so don’t apply during your daily makeup routine, can make eyeshadow smudge
